One could watch a movie at a stretch for 3 hours.But can you imagine watching a movie non stop for more than 3 days at the cost of a good night sleep.Yes that reflects the mental strength of Adam Bin Kamis an ace runner.He lost one arm in an accident.Adam watched the movie from November 9,2011 to November 13,2011 at Nex Shopping Mall,Serangoon Central Singapore.The marathon lasted for 92 hours and 49 minutes .

Longest Display of Chinese New Year Cards
It was an occassion for every Chinese to wish New Year and many wrote their wishes in the new Year cards.As much as 1,328 cards were gathered and tied to a rope of length 200.8 meters .This was the longest display of Chinese cards ever displayed at East Point Mall Singapore on January 28,2012.The New Year wishes for hope stood long enough for everyone's dream to realise them and make them happen.
Longest Wooden Linked Chain
Creativity has no dimensions provided it is free flowing from a passionate heart and mind.K.M Rajendran showed his artistic work on wood by making the longest wooden linked chain with 112 ft in length.The chain comprised of 208 blocks and was made sans joints.According to Mr Rajendran, 195 blocks in the chain represent 192 republics across the globe and the three nations of Vatican, Palastene and Taiwan. The remaining 13 blocks stand for various burning issues facing the world today.
Environmental issues like global warming, man’s sheer neglect towards environment and environmental degradation also figure as linking blocks in this chain of world peace.The feat was displayed on September 19,2011 at Pattanamthitta Kerala.This record supports the concept of Environment conservation and mankind's apathy to address it whole heartedly.

Longest Dosa
"Dosa" the mouth watering menu dished out appropriately from the south Indian Kitchen table has many fans all over the world who would really vouch for its distinct taste.This particular dish eaten along with the right blend of yummy sambhar,chutneys and chilly powder could make your taste buds appeased. Infact i know many of my friends who themselves quite admit that they cannot get enough of the dosa despite having eaten it many times.Dosa and the south indian recipes go synonymous for many in the North part of India and abroad.
But taking this world favourite food to global prominence is none other than Sankalp restaurant at Ahmedabad Gujarat.These guys took it on themselves to take the simple dosa to the next level by dishing out a dosa 32.5 ft in length.The Dosa titled'Quick gun Murugan' looked really apt for the title taking in to consideration the enormous length and the resemblance it shared with that of a gun.Sankalp Restaurant attempted the record on August 19,2009 and got the certification for the dosa on September 24,2011.
A must see and trial for all dosa lovers and a hats off to the makers for this excellant culinary attempt.

One of the best set examples of determination and will could be credited to K.Prakash from Tamilnadu.And the reason is because this young man has mustered the courage and grit to do a cycling marathon for 24 hours.This student of ARJ College of Engineering and Technology,Mannargudi,Thiruvarur District started the marathon attempt at 6.00 am in the morning on March 12,2012 and completed on March 13,2012 at 7.59 am.A really commendable task by this youngster who unlike other boys of his age would prefer to spend time playing video games,sports,freak out with friends, watch movies.We were totally taken aback with the whole concept but he proved to us otherwise.
Such Youngsters must say really set the trend for others.Many kids on the block should rather take inspiration from these guys and yes you can turn around things your way.setting targets and achieving them is no doubt great but setting standards for others by you yourself raising the bar is something marvellous to do it.The youth should be trendsetters each themselves than looking for some body else where.That is where we stand tomorrow by our ability to see things and execute them the winner way.
